About The Role
Amplitude Energy is seeking an experienced Senior Geophysicist to support the growth of our upstream portfolio through high quality geophysical evaluation and interpretation. This role is instrumental in identifying, assessing, and maturing exploration and development opportunities across our operated and non-operated permit acreage.

Amplitude Energy is seeking an experienced Senior Geophysicist to support the growth of our upstream portfolio through high quality geophysical evaluation and interpretation. This role is instrumental in identifying, assessing, and maturing exploration and development opportunities across our operated and non-operated permit acreage.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify and assess prospectivity using advanced geophysical techniques
- Deliver high-quality seismic interpretation and depth conversion to support asset evaluation
- Prepare technical documentation, QI reports, and contribute to drilling planning
- Interpret 2D/3D seismic to assess and mature exploration and development opportunities
- Deliver robust subsurface evaluations using QI, depth conversion, and structural mapping
- Support drilling planning and represent Amplitude in Joint Venture(JV) and stakeholder engagements
- Contribute to portfolio growth through technical excellence and commercial insight
- 10+ years of experience in upstream geophysics
- Tertiary qualifications in Geophysics or Geology
- Proficient in industry standard tools (Petrel, DUG Insight, Petrosys, etc)
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and build strong professional relationships
- Strong technical foundation in seismic interpretation, rock physics, and resource estimation
- Excellent communication skills and experience engaging with JV partners and regulators
- Collaborative mindset and a commitment to high technical standards
