ALG is seeking a Training Supervisor to join our client's team at Perth Airport. This is an ongoing casual contract with full-time hours and potential for a permanent role based on performance.

The Training Supervisor (TTM) oversees training and assessment within the company's RTO and Part 147 scope, delivering in-person, remote, and online instruction.

This senior leadership role ensures high-quality training, compliance, safety, and strong industry partnerships. The TTM manages staff, coordinates campus operations, and fosters collaboration with the corporate office.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee campus operations, ensuring facility maintenance and safety compliance.
  2. Work with managers to optimize resource use and scheduling.
  3. Deliver and assess theory and practical training as needed.
  4. Supervise staff, ensuring efficient administration and workload management.
  5. Review and improve curriculum, teaching practices, and student assessments.
  6. Conduct competency assessments for registered apprentices.
  7. Provide student support, including counseling and remediation.
  8. Stay updated on industry advancements and regulatory changes.
  9. Monitor and evaluate teaching performance to enhance student learning.
  10. Work with leadership to improve quality, service delivery, and best practices.
Leadership Responsibilities:
  1. Align campus leadership with company strategy.
  2. Manage HR tasks, including leave requests, timesheets, and professional development.
  3. Conduct regular check-ins and address staff concerns, escalating when needed.
  4. Ensure instructors maintain required technical skills and compliance standards.
  5. Lead performance management, including instructor evaluations and classroom observations.
  6. Support recruitment, onboarding, and exit processes.
Essential Qualifications:
  1. Certificate IV in Aeroskills or the ability to achieve its required competencies.
  2. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or a higher qualification in teaching/training.
  3. Minimum English proficiency of IELTS 5.0 (or equivalent) for non-native English speakers.
  4. Demonstrated experience within a line and/or workshop setting or as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
