About the Garden Maintenance Team Leader Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct a team of maintenance staff to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Follow schedules, prioritise tasks, and ensure timely completion of garden maintenance activities, including planting, hedging, weeding, pruning, and fertilising.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to enhance horticultural skills and safety practices.
  • Regularly inspect garden areas to assess their condition, identify improvements, and implement corrective actions.
  • Interact with clients to understand preferences, address concerns, and provide updates on maintenance activities.

About You
  • A Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens is required.
  • A Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain is preferred.
  • A White Card is necessary.
  • A valid Drivers' license is essential.
  • You should be a team player with excellent communication skills.
