I'm working with a fast-growing environmental and occupational health consultancy that's expanding into Queensland - and they're looking for a Senior Hazmat Consultant / Hazmat Manager to lead their Brisbane operations.

This isn't just another project role - it's a genuine leadership opportunity where you'll have the scope to shape the company's presence in Queensland, mentor staff, and build long-term client relationships.

$150k–$180k salary (depending on experience)

What you'll be doing:

Lead hazardous materials projects end-to-end (asbestos, lead, mould, etc.)

Provide expert technical advice and compliance guidance

Conduct inspections, audits, and risk assessments

Mentor and manage a team of consultants

Build client relationships and support business growth

What you'll bring:

Strong experience in Hazmat consulting (asbestos, lead, hazardous substances)

Solid knowledge of WHS and environmental regulations

Project management skills: delivering on time and within budget

Experience mentoring or managing junior consultants

Relevant tertiary qualifications (Env Sci, Occ Hygiene, Engineering)

PTA certification (highly regarded)
