Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Brambles Full time

CHEP helps move more goods to more people, in more places than any other organization on earth via our 347 million pallets, crates and containers. We employ approximately 13,000 people and operate in 60 countries. Through our pioneering and sustainable share-and-reuse business model, the world's biggest brands trust us to help them transport their goods more efficiently, safely and with less environmental impact.

And you can maximize your work-life balance and flexibility through our Hybrid Work Model.

Job Description

Are you an up-and-coming Corporate Communications Specialist looking to join a globally focused, ASX listed blue chip organisation and leader in sustainability to take the next step in your career?

As a valued part of the Global Corporate Communications team, your role at Group level will be to develop engaging content that promotes Brambles and CHEP to a global audience, as well as proactive management and monitoring of our brand's presence on social media. Global campaigns will range from corporate announcements to celebrating sustainability wins, and talent acquisition initiatives.

You will execute external communication projects and initiatives that support company objectives and align with strategy and messaging, working in close collaboration with the regional and functional communications and marketing teams. Based at our Sydney CBD office, this role reports directly to the Group External Communications Lead.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Manage and maintain editorial/content calendar for Brambles and global CHEP campaigns (reporting season, corporate announcements and sustainability or employee initiatives)
  • Implement and manage campaigns across social media, content sharing and owned platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube, corporate website), working with global colleagues to co-ordinate global activation
  • Proactively manage our brand's presence, performance and reputation on social media, including monitoring and benchmarking and assist with general media monitoring
  • Monitor platform trends, investigate tools for social publishing, listening and reporting, and present recommendations about adoption

We value curiosity, collaboration, and creativity, and we are looking for someone who shares these values and can thrive in our inclusive and supportive culture.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Marketing or related discipline
  • Experience working in a communications role with exposure to campaign management and social media, either in-house or agency
  • Track record of producing high quality and engaging content across video, image and copy
  • Skills in written communication (editing, copywriting) and content development (visual/graphic design, video editing)
  • Demonstrated interest in current affairs and the broader business environment
  • Solid understanding of social media and content sharing platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, website)
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams and culturally diverse settings
  • Flexible, self-motivated, engaged, result-driven and pro-active ability to deliver against a wide variety of business objectives at pace
  • Ability to collaborate with and influence both senior and junior-level stakeholders

If you're looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity with an innovative company where you are empowered to make a difference, we want to hear from you
