Bar Supervisor – Gowings Bar, QT Sydney

About the Role:
As Bar Supervisor at Gowings Bar, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional guest experience that reflects the bold, art-inspired spirit of QT Sydney. You'll oversee daily bar operations, support the bar team in delivering impeccable service, and help maintain the unique energy and style Gowings is known for.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily bar service, ensuring smooth operations and consistent quality.

Lead and motivate a team of bartenders and cocktail servers to deliver outstanding hospitality.

Support stock control, ordering, and inventory processes.

Maintain compliance with RSA, hygiene, and safety standards.

Drive beverage sales through product knowledge, upselling, and service excellence.

Assist in onboarding, training, and mentoring new bar staff.

Collaborate with the Bar Manager on cocktail development and seasonal menu rollouts.

Uphold QT's service ethos—personalised, charismatic, and creatively unexpected.

About You:

Minimum 2 years' experience in a bar or hospitality supervisory role.

Strong cocktail knowledge and a genuine passion for beverage culture.

Confident leading a team in a high-volume, premium environment.

Sharp attention to detail with a guest-first attitude.

RSA certification and knowledge of Sydney's hospitality regulations.

Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
