About the RoleWe are seeking Mechanical Engineers to join our team, based in Townsville, with an immediate start available. Reporting to the Principal Mechanical Engineer, this role offers exposure to a diverse range of projects including mechanical design, project delivery, and risk management, with regular site-based engagement.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Executing projects to our exacting standards and client expectations.
Managing project resources, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful, timely outcomes.
Liaising with clients, suppliers, and project partners in a professional and solutions-oriented manner.
We offer a flexible working structure, including support for 9-day fortnights and remuneration for all hours worked.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will bring:
A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 2 years' professional experience in Australia.
A proactive, flexible attitude, combined with a good sense of humour and a team-first approach.
Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, across technical and client-facing contexts.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on engineering design and system improvement.
Excellent time management and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
A high level of attention to detail, especially when reviewing specifications and final outputs.
Desirable: Previous experience in site-based engineering roles within mining or heavy industry.
Additional RequirementsApplicants must have unrestricted work rights in Australia.
