EDM & Content Executive

We're looking for a savvy, detail-obsessed EDM & Content Executive to drive both the email marketing and content heartbeat of Best Gift Group's brands – Best Restaurants, Best Wellness, and Best Wineries. You'll own our BAU and campaign email marketing end-to-end, while also keeping our content fresh, accurate, and optimised across our platforms.

From building data-driven, high-converting HubSpot campaigns to uploading the latest venue listings, landing pages, and editorial features, you'll be across everything that connects our audience to the best dining, wellness, and winery experiences in Australia. If you thrive at the sweet spot between creative and analytical – and can spot a broken link or a missing comma from a mile away – you'll fit right in.

What You'll Be Doing

EDM Tasks

• Own BAU and campaign email marketing for consumers, corporates, and our network of partnered vendors, ensuring each send aligns with business priorities.
• Manage and optimise HubSpot, keeping customer and audience lists clean, accurate, and effectively segmented.
• Increase testing, reporting, and optimisation of all sends to exceed industry engagement benchmarks.
• Review and refresh automated workflows, including abandoned cart and newsletter journeys.
• Implement ongoing design tweaks informed by performance insights.

Editorial & Content Management

• Upload and schedule editorial content to ensure a consistent flow of fresh stories.
• Research and upload new venue listings with complete, engaging, and accurate details.
• Manage ongoing content updates, including listings, categories, and landing pages.
• Build campaign and BAU landing pages in collaboration with the Marketing team, ensuring copy is search-optimised and layouts are designed to convert.
• Perform regular content quality checks for accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment.

About You

• 2+ years' experience in marketing, communications, or digital, with a focus on email marketing.
• A strategic thinker who analyses what works (and what doesn't) and uses data to inform improvements. You push us, and yourself, to consistently improve.
• Proficiency in HubSpot (or similar platforms such as Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Campaign Monitor, Mailchimp).
• Comfortable with testing, reporting, and using results to drive optimisation.
• Strong writing skills and a keen eye for design – you notice both typos and misaligned buttons instantly.
• Basic HTML/CSS for email formatting is a bonus.
• A collaborative team player who thrives under deadlines and values feedback.
• Ability to translate insights into engaging campaigns and content.
