Your day at NTT DATA

The Senior Security Consultant (GRC) will support and drive our strategic advisory services to our clients and ultimately help businesses reduce their cybersecurity risk profile. This role involves leading maturity and risk assessments, developing security policies, and ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulations.

This role may also provide guidance and support to junior members of the security consultancy team.

What you'll be doing

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver Security consultations to clients either by yourself or in a team.
  2. Lead risk assessments and gap analyses to identify vulnerabilities and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
  3. Lead security compliance assessments ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulations.
  4. Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
  5. Provide guidance and support to junior GRC team members.
  6. Participate in security incident response activities as needed.
  7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the information security program.
  8. Perform any other related tasks as required.

Knowledge and Attributes:

  1. Excellent knowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk management, compliance standards, and advanced security technologies.
  2. Advanced understanding of information security frameworks and standards.
  3. Advanced proficiency in conducting compliance and risk assessments, analyzing security controls, and policy management.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with various stakeholders.
  5. Strong project management skills for handling security initiatives.
  6. Advanced familiarity with legal and compliance aspects related to information security.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  2. Industry relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor.

Required Experience:

  1. Advanced level of experience in the Information Technology Security Industry or relevant experience in a similar role within a related environment.
  2. Advanced experience with security architecture design principles.
  3. Advanced experience with industry compliance and standards such as ISO 27000, PCI DSS, NIST, or others.
  4. Advanced experience with security tools and techniques to cover SANS Top 25, OWASP, or others.
  5. Advanced experience working in a multi-team environment across multiple geographies.
