Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Volunteer Coordinator located in the Melbourne CBD . The Volunteer Coordinator will be responsible for recruitment, training, and management of volunteers for various events and programs. Daily tasks will include coordinating volunteer schedules, maintaining volunteer databases, and ensuring effective communication between volunteers and staff. The Volunteer Coordinator will also handle volunteer appreciation and retention initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Strong organisational and coordination skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in database management and related software
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • willingness to roll up the sleeves and go above and beyond on our events
  • Passion for promoting physical activity and bike riding
  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Volunteer Management, or a related field would be highly regarded
