Locum Hospital Dietitian

Required locum Hospital Dietitian for a hospital based in North Queensland. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of 30 allied health staff to cover:

  • Contract duration: 14th April - 9th May
  • Experience as Senior Dietitian or at least 3 years post graduation working in clinical environments required
  • Hours: 0800-1630 Monday to Friday with 1 hour unpaid break (7.5 hours per day)
  • Accommodation can be provided for the candidate for the length of contract
  • Up to $1000 (incl. GST) will be reimbursed to assist travel to Mount Isa
  • Working in a rural generalist role with opportunity to fill a Renal Dietetics caseload for someone with relevant experience/interest
  • Caseload includes inpatient adult & paediatric wards and ED, outpatient adults and paediatrics. This will be split between members of the Dietitian team.
  • Working amongst a young and dynamic multidisciplinary Allied Health team of approx. 45 clinicians. The team regularly plans weekend adventures including camping, rodeos, and local events which the candidate would be welcome to join.
  • Credentialing will be completed before you can commence, assistance with this will be provided.

Locum rates up to $75 + super + up to $1000 travel + FREE accommodation.

You must be an experienced Dietitian with the relevant skill set. A minimum of three years experience is required.

This region offers a real insight into Outback Australia, with a wide range of places to enjoy 4 wheel driving, camping, fishing, and hiking. A great location for any intrepid explorer
