The Client:

A privately held real estate investment and asset management firm is seeking a high-calibre Analyst – Asset Management to join its growing Sydney-based team. The firm manages a diversified portfolio across various asset classes and strategies, with a strong focus on value creation, active management, and institutional-grade execution. With a growing national footprint, this is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing platform during a phase of continued expansion.

The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Asset Management team, you will play a key role in optimising the performance of real estate investments across the portfolio. This role combines financial analysis, hands-on asset strategy, and exposure to end-to-end real estate lifecycle management.

• Support the execution of asset-level business plans, with a focus on income optimisation and value-add initiatives.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models to track asset performance, forecast returns, and assess leasing or capex scenarios.
• Assist in quarterly reporting, investor updates, and valuation processes.
• Monitor leasing activity, operating costs, capital expenditure, and key performance metrics.
• Conduct market research and benchmarking to support decision-making.
• Coordinate with external partners and service providers to support day-to-day asset management operations.

The Candidate:

• A degree in Property, Finance, Commerce, Economics or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in real estate, funds management, investment banking, consulting, or corporate finance.
• Strong financial modelling and Excel skills, with experience in building cash flows and running scenario analysis.
• Strong analytical thinking with commercial acumen and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
