Securecorp currently has an outstanding opportunity for a Part Time Security Officer to provide excellent customer service and emergency response to one of our retail assets in Fortitude Valley. You must be available to work day and night shifts.

The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Providing a high level of security and customer service duties
  • Guarding, patrolling, monitoring, and controlling assigned premises
  • Respond to emergencies, alarm events, calls for assistance and provide the necessary support
  • Assess and respond to situations of risk
  • Access control
  • Incident report writing and data logs

Rostered Hours

  • Part-time: 25-40 hours per week
  • SSIA LV2 + super
  • 3 week rotational roster
  • Day and night availability required – Essential
  • Permanent night rates from $33.97 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Current Security Licence - Crowd Control is required for this position.
  • Current First Aid certificate
  • Flexibility to work rotating rosters. Willingness to work nights/weekends
  • Great communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • It is essential that you are highly professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
