The Role

We're seeking to engage a Senior Level Electrical Drafter to join our team in ANZ. In this role you'll be responsible for Electrical Drafting on Solar Farm and Renewable Projects within ANZ.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting in the preparation of schematic and production drawings
  • Using a combination of standard and modified Drafting methods/techniques in addition to those developed in previous assignments for the purposes of solving problems.
  • Production of construction level documentation
  • Liaise with appropriate stakeholders to ascertain information required to undertake drawings and documentation tasks
  • Carry out design tasks as directed to meet agreed outcomes and cost structure
  • Produce model and/or drawings to timeline
  • Developing skills on the application of Computer Aided Drafting (CAD)

About You

Suitable applicants will be/have:

  • Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree in Drafting
  • At least 4+ years' professional industry experience ideally on Solar Farm and Renewable Energy Projects
  • Civil Infrastructure and CADD technologies Software: CADD technologies with emphasis on the Autodesk suite of products
  • Ability to self-manage and prioritise own workload
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work within a diverse and multi-disciplinary environment
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations
  • Ability to apply new knowledge
  • Problem solving/analytical skills
  • Ability to use basic theoretical knowledge of drafting principles to analyse and interpret information
