Do you want to work alongside one of Australia's top-performing coal-fired power stations? Millmerran is a leader in the industry, processing 11,000 tonnes of coal daily. Ventia provides operational and preventative maintenance services to the Millmerran Power Station, which generates 870MW of electricity—powering over 1 million homes. Ventia's contract was successfully renewed in September 2024, ensuring stable and ongoing work.

About The Role

Ventia is seeking a proactive and experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team at Millmerran Power Station. In this role, you will manage high-risk, non-routine electrical tasks under the Annual Electrical Project (AEP) framework, working closely with site and client teams to ensure safe, efficient delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead electrical maintenance and project execution.
  • Manage scopes, budgets, and schedules.
  • Provide technical support and reliability insights.
  • Coordinate resources and stakeholder communication.
  • Support shutdown and outage planning.

About You
  • Trade Qualified Electrician.
  • Experience with Hazardous areas and Dossiers.
  • Proven experience in electrical supervision within industrial or power generation environments.
  • Leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Planning experience with Maintenance planning tools.
  • This role is based on-site at the Millmerran Power Station. Candidates must reside within a 1-hour drive or be willing to relocate at their own expense.
