The OpportunityThis is an exceptional opportunity for a strategic risk and compliance leader of diverse second line teams to join our team. As the Head of Enterprise Risk & Compliance, you will work closely with senior executives to ensure that the Fund's risk, compliance and financial crime management policies, procedures and frameworks are implemented effectively to manage and mitigate risk exposure.
- Develop and embed the ongoing process for the identification, management and reporting of emerging risks and compliance obligations.
- Cross team collaboration will be important to ensure effective and efficient risk and compliance oversight as well as identification of ongoing improvements to the Hostplus Risk, AML/CTF and Compliance Management Frameworks.
You will bring significant industry experience from within the financial services sector in a risk and compliance management role coupled with strong experience in a strategic leadership role. You will have hands-on experience in the design and development of risk and compliance management frameworks and strategies as well as their embedment.
- Advanced technical knowledge of the Australian superannuation industry regulatory environment and emerging practice and concepts including a working knowledge of the Corporations Act, SIS Act and other applicable legislation, or a proven ability to research and apply new obligations and concepts.
- Strong communication skills that allows you to communicate ideas with conviction and gain the buy-in of your stakeholders.
