Agriculture and Environment Impact Strategist

Established in 2006, the Impact Innovation Group is a specialist R&D design and management consultancy that bridges the gap between research and investment, providing best-practice strategy, structure, and support to turn research into tomorrow's most innovative products, services, and processes. We provide services in:

  • R&D project design and implementation
  • Project monitoring and evaluation
  • Business and investment case design
  • R&D centre design and evaluation
  • R&D investment program design and evaluation

Clients include those that invest in R&D (companies, industry, and government) and those that deliver R&D (universities, CSIRO, and other publicly funded research organisations).

Working with Senior Partners, key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Designing and delivering impact strategy for client R&D projects and programs
  • Designing and delivering M&E frameworks and review projects
  • Conducting primary and secondary research including stakeholder consultations
  • Delivering training and skills development events
  • Managing research commercialisation projects and teams
  • Maintaining and growing client relationships during project delivery
  • Preparing tenders and proposals in response to client requests
  • Working effectively with other team members to implement client engagement strategies
  • Contributing to Impact Innovation Group's success

As the successful candidate, you'll be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Knowledge of research commercialisation
  • Knowledge of Rural Research and Development Corporation (RDC) systems or CRC systems
  • Project management skills demonstrating an ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • An understanding of commercialisation systems and approaches
  • Business development and client engagement skills
  • Experience in delivering training and adult learning programs
  • Experience in delivering high-impact consulting services
  • Experience in tendering and proposal preparation
  • Time management and planning skills, as an independent worker and within a team
