About the Role

Our Team Leaders are empowered to strategically drive growth in their team, undertake all aspects of people management, development and planning in line with Branch strategy, while managing a portfolio of commercial clients.

This role will see you lead and manage a small team of insurance professionals, as well as your own portfolio of clients to achieve financial targets.

You will oversee all operational aspects of the team alongside the Branch Operations Manager and be responsible for delivering profitable and sustainable business performance through strategic team planning, implementation of the overall goals and strategies of the Branch and financial management.

As Team Leader, you will maintain and build client relationships while enhancing Gallagher's visibility in the market.

About You
  • Previous people management (or equivalent) experience with people leadership skills gained within insurance broking or a sales focused role within Insurance Underwriting or Financial Services.
  • A commercially astute background, someone who is passionate about the client experience and can demonstrate an innate understanding and passion for sales, driving revenue and growth.
  • Relationship building with the ability to lead and influence others, develop, coach, motivate and lead other broking staff, maintain long term relationships with key clients, suppliers, agencies, Insurance Industry bodies while promoting and protecting the Gallagher brand.
