About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Domestic Support Worker to join our team in Dungog. This role offers autonomy in working independently and opportunities to connect with clients during country drives. You will provide quality cleaning services within our clients\' homes, including:

  • General house cleaning, such as vacuuming and mopping floors
  • Cleaning shower, toilet, bath and hand basin
  • Emptying kitchen/bathroom bins, dishwashing
  • Unaccompanied shopping from a client list
  • Changing sheets, making the bed
  • Report any potential hazards to the client

About You

Essential Requirements & Attributes:

  • Reliability and commitment to the rostered days and times
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
  • Ability to use modern technology, smartphones, apps, email and internet
  • A current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • A current or willingness to obtain: Police Check & Working with Children Check (WCC)
  • Empathetic, patient, and strong communicator
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and thrive in a supportive team environment
  • NSW Driver License and a reliable vehicle
  • Encouragement to stay current with COVID-19 vaccinations as recommended by health authorities
  • Evidence of protection against Diphtheria, Measles, Hepatitis B, Pertussis, Mumps, Varicella, Tetanus, Rubella (Influenza highly recommended)
  • Pre-employment screening checks as part of the application process
