Location: Ballina

About the role: Casual Imaging Assistant in Ballina. You will assist general and CT radiographers by asking patients questions, obtaining medical history, outlining risks, and explaining procedures. You must be able to assist in positioning patients undergoing CT scans.

Responsibilities
  • Assist general and CT radiographers by asking patients questions, obtaining medical history, outlining risks involved, and explaining procedures.
  • Assist in positioning patients undergoing CT scans.
Qualifications
  • This is an excellent opportunity for a student of Radiography or a candidate with a medical background/interest.
  • Sound medical knowledge is preferable but not essential
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Empathetic and a clear communicator
  • Available for extended trading hours and weekends
