About the business and the role

AMES Australasia is the home of some of the most trusted and iconic brands in the garden and hardware industry, such as Cyclone, Hills, Nylex, Northcote Pottery, Tuscan Path, Kelso and Westmix. In Australasia, our products can be found in most hardware stores, garden centres, nurseries and major retailers across Australasia, including Bunnings Warehouse, Home Timber & Hardware, Mitre 10 and many more. We are committed to innovation, value, quality and providing the best selection of products for work and living.

We are currently looking for a Merchandiser to join our Sales team, servicing our Bunnings stores in Brisbane area, ideally based in the Sunnybank or surrounding areas.

Responsibilities
  • Calling on Bunnings stores
  • Effectively execute merchandising expectations
  • Assisting with bay upgrades and relays
  • Role will involve heavy lifting and manual handling
  • Vacancy coverage for Sales team
Skills And Experience
  • Previous Hardware/Grocery merchandising experience would be advantageous
  • The confidence and ability to communicate with customers and build rapport
  • Self-motivated individual who demonstrates an ability to work autonomously
  • Strong time management skills & positive attitude
  • Physically fit and able to climb ladders and handle stock
  • A valid driver's licence/reliable car
  • Ambition to move into a full-time sales role in the future
