About The RoleACC Hobart is seeking a temporary part-time Christian Middle Primary Teacher for Term 3, 2025, with a workload of 0.2-0.4FTE (15.2 - 30.4 hours per fortnight). The role begins on 28 July 2025 and concludes on 26 September 2025.
The successful candidate will need to:
- Actively lead the Christian formation of students;
- Lead in delivering Pastoral Care from a genuine Christian faith;
- Contribute to an inclusive approach to learning and cross-cultural understanding;
- Develop an educational approach that is biblically grounded, Christ-focused, culturally engaging, and academically rigorous. Preference will be given to teachers familiar with an Explicit Instruction model;
- Teach the prescribed curriculum within a conducive learning environment to develop students' interests, skills, and abilities; and
- Participate in staff meetings, extracurricular tasks, and liaise with parents as appropriate.
- You hold a relevant bachelor degree and additional teaching qualifications (e.g., Masters of Education);
- You are passionate about impacting students' minds and hearts, providing a safe and supportive learning environment;
- You are highly relational and committed to holistic teaching and student welfare;
- You are eager to collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement teaching and learning programs;
