Overview

Truck Driver role at BGC (Australia) Pty Ltd is based with Midland Brick in Perth. Midland Brick is a proudly Western Australian owned, industry leading business based in Perth. We are seeking HC or MC licensed drivers with a valid Forklift High Risk Work License wanting to learn new skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safe delivery of Midland Brick product throughout the Perth Metropolitan Area
  • Ensuring compliance with all safety requirements including daily pre-starts on vehicles
  • Adhering to all quality control procedures
  • Operating the Heavy Vehicles and telehandlers in a safe and efficient manner
  • Completing time sheet documentation correctly and to comply with Fatigue regulations
  • Ability to plan efficient runs adhering to the RAV Network Requirements
Qualifications / Skills and experience
  • Ability to reverse a Truck & Dog or Road Train (not essential but preferred)
  • Excellent knowledge of the Perth metro area
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently communicate at all levels
  • Valid WA MC or HC driver's licence (unrestricted)
  • Valid High Risk Forklift Ticket
  • Ability to hold a Commercial Drivers Medical
  • Housing construction or bricklaying experience would be beneficial
