Role Description

This is a flexible role for an Occupational Therapist / Rehabilitation Consultant.

Your duties include:

• Home visits - Household Services and ADL Assessments.
• A range of injury management and injury prevention services (DVA, Workers' Compensation and Income Protection Insurance).
• Coordination of return-to-work plans (vocational assessments, functional capacity evaluations, work trials, and job placement) and non-return-to-work plans (engagement in treatment and social wellbeing activities).
• Consultancy services specific to your knowledge, such as ADL assessments, worksite task analysis, medicolegal assessments, and employer consultancy such as mediation and training.
• Use of our industry-leading assessment protocols and IT systems.

To be successful, you will have:

• Tertiary Qualifications-Occupational Therapist. Other Comcare-accredited Allied Health Applicants will also be considered.
• AHPRA registered.
• Comcare Registration and experience with Comcare and/or DVA clients will be highly regarded.
• Skills in workplace rehabilitation and ADL assessments.
• Experience with Defence and Veteran clients (preferred but not required).
• Strong Communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Proficiency with IT and Telehealth systems.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to obtain a successful police check.
