ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Field Service Diesel Technician to support our customers located in Echuca/Bendigo and surrounding areas. This is a full-time permanent position, working Monday - Friday.

Your typical day will include:

  • Onsite technical troubleshooting and fault finding including diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on Cat equipment and their components; hydraulics, transmissions and engines
  • Providing outstanding customer service to our loyal customers
  • Compiling and completing accurate reporting
  • Working autonomously to manage your time and maximise efficiency
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
  • Liaising with our internal service and parts department

ABOUT YOU

To be considered for this role you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Be a qualified Diesel Technician with extensive experience with Caterpillar machines (or similar)
  • Be able to service customers and their equipment to a very high standard
  • Have advanced mechanical diagnostic skills with Cat computer diagnostics knowledge (great to have)
  • A proactive and positive attitude, with strong work ethic
  • A strong commitment to safety, health & environment procedures
  • Hold a current Drivers and Light Rigid Licence (heavy vehicle licence is also highly regarded)
  • Proven ability to be self-motivated and to work unsupervised
