About The Opportunity
As a Payroll and HR Officer, you will provide hands-on support to ensure smooth and accurate HR administration and fortnightly payroll processes. This role offers a variety of tasks, keeping you engaged and continuously learning. You will support key HR functions and the employment lifecycle, working closely with the Organisational Development Manager to deliver professional and efficient HR services across the organisation. Additionally, you will share payroll responsibilities with the Payroll and Risk Coordinator, handling alternate end-to-end payroll processes and contributing to system enhancements and efficiencies.

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Need
- Cert IV in Business Finance, Payroll Administration, HR, or a similar field with relevant experience
- Experience with employment legislation, awards, and standards
- A strong understanding of accuracy and reporting timeframes
- A solutions-based mindset
- Strong interpersonal skills and work ethic, with the ability to maintain diplomacy and professionalism with a customer service focus

This role is based at Kapunda, about 25 minutes from Gawler, and will report directly to the Organisational Development Manager.
