An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced technician to join the Melbourne Preventative Maintenance team. This role will involve travelling in a modern purpose-built service truck, carrying lubricants and service parts throughout the Melbourne area, providing servicing and minor repairs to the full range of Komatsu Construction equipment.
Role detailsRoster: Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm. Location: Campbellfield, Victoria.
Remuneration: $39-$52 per hour plus overtime. You will also receive a tool allowance, a mobile phone, laptop, uniforms and a tool of trade vehicle.
Responsibilities- Travel across the Melbourne area in a service truck to service and perform minor repairs on the full range of Komatsu Construction equipment.
- Carry lubricants and service parts to customer sites.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks and support a high standard of safety and quality.
- Current MR Drivers Licence
- Heavy Mechanical trade certificate (Certified Diesel or Mobile Plant preferred)
- Previous experience with earthmoving maintenance (Komatsu equipment experience highly regarded)
- Strong communication skills
- An excellent understanding and commitment to safety and environment
- Ability to work remotely and with minimal supervision
- Basic computer knowledge/skills
- Forklift Licence (advantageous, not essential)
- Ability to provide a high level of customer service
