Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Director Fire Engineer at MCD Fire Engineering Pty Ltd. The Director Fire Engineer will be responsible for overseeing fire safety engineering projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and leading a team of fire safety engineers. Some remote work is acceptable for this role. A company car is included in the overall package for the successful candidate.

Qualifications

  • Fire Safety Engineering BSc or MSc
  • 8+ years overall experience in fire/life safety codes and consultancy
  • 5+ years experience in Fire Safety and Safety Engineering in Australia
  • In depth knowledge of Australian Building Code and Standards
  • Experience in fire engineering for various building types
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent project management and leadership abilities
  • Professional certification (Certifier - Fire Safety / NER / CPEng) in fire engineering or related field
