The purpose of the Desktop engineer role is to provide onsite and remote desktop support by responding to and resolving incidents and service requests whilst maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and investigating, diagnosing, and resolving hardware and software faults related to end-user devices.

Responsibilities

  • Providing End User device technical support and a customer-oriented service experience.
  • Manning the technical hub for walk-up requests.
  • Troubleshooting desktops, laptops, and tablets running a Windows OS (10 and 11).
  • Working within Azure AD.
  • Working with and troubleshooting common enterprise applications (MS Office 365, Adobe, etc.).
  • Troubleshooting peripherals (printers, POS terminals, barcode scanners).
  • Ability to work with composure and professionalism when dealing with multiple demands.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years experience with troubleshooting end user issues in a corporate environment.
  • ITIL v3, MCITP/MCTS, and/or relevant technical qualifications highly regarded.
