About Your Role:

We are seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer who is passionate about process optimisation, cutting-edge technology, and sustainable practices. As a part of our dynamic team, you will work closely with colleagues from diverse backgrounds to develop and implement efficient manufacturing systems, ensuring the highest quality output.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engineering Support: Assist the engineering team in writing specifications to meet component measurement requirements, ensuring all products meet quality and design standards.
  • Champion Health and Safety: Lead and enforce practices that ensure a safe working environment, aligning with industry standards and regulations.
  • Lean Methodologies Implementation: Utilize and implement Lean methodologies, such as 5S, Single Piece Flow, Line Balancing, and Visual Management, to enhance manufacturing efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborative Production Planning: Work closely with Production and Planning teams to develop detailed production plans, serving as a foundation for managing day-to-day operations on the production lines.
  • Facilitate Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement projects across various business areas, including Production, Supply Chain, and Warehousing, to enhance overall operational efficiency
  • New Product Implementation: Support new product introductions by ensuring smooth production readiness processes, contributing to the seamless integration of new products.

About You:

As the Manufacturing Engineer, you will have experience in a similar Trade or Engineering role within a manufacturing environment.

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering or extensive experience in a technical or trade related field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and data analysis tools is a plus.
