Overview

Omni is seeking x6 experienced Senior Cloud Engineers to provide cloud engineering services into the Australian Signals Directorate. Location of Role: Canberra, ACT; Brisbane, QLD; Melbourne, VIC; Perth, WA. Security Clearance Required: Negative Vetting 1.

Responsibilities
  • Architecting and designing AWS infrastructure solutions to meet organizational technical and business requirements.
  • Collaborating with cross-function teams to optimize AWS services for cost, performance, security and reliability; while adhering to best practice and compliance standards.
  • Coordinate with senior leadership.
  • Work with product owners and developers to identify, test and assess security controls in alignment with PSPF, ISM, E8 and organisational policy.
  • Contribute to implementation of CNAPP/SASE tooling across cloud platforms.
  • Use and implementation of products relating to Azure Active Directory and Azure Active Directory Domain Services.
  • Implement solutions and tools as Proof of Concepts (PoCs) so they can be evaluated for use prior to production; replicate production environments to enable PoCs and testing.
  • Engage with agencies to understand current state architectures and design considering relevant policies, standards, and emerging technologies (e.g., Zero Trust Architecture).
  • Collaborate with industry cloud providers to architect feasible solution architectures.
