B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME)

Join Leidos as a B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) in Darwin. We offer a balanced lifestyle roster of 6 days on, 6 days off, with 10-hour shifts. This role includes relocation support and a remote location allowance. Your Role

As a B1 LAME reporting to the Senior Base Engineers in Darwin, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Performing aircraft maintenance duties as a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
  2. Ensuring all maintenance, documentation, and certification comply with MOE, procedures, and CAMO requirements.
  3. Prioritizing safety and contributing to a zero harm environment.
  4. Performing shift/task handovers and ensuring Critical Maintenance Tasks are completed properly.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience as a licensed B1 LAME or dual licensed.
  • Heavy and Line maintenance experience.
  • Type rating for DHC8 Classic is offered if not currently rated.
