An exciting opportunity for MC Drivers to join our growing team

DP World is looking for experienced A-DOUBLE drivers with current MSIC to join our Fremantle-based operation in a permanent capacity. Starting point will be in KEWDALE.

We are looking for MC Truck Drivers with A-Double experience in carting Full Containers. We are looking for people on both day and evening shifts to work up to 12 hour shifts, and a current MSIC is mandatory.

Key Accountabilities
  • Shuttling Full Exports and Imports in the Port Precinct
  • Shuttling Empty containers around the Port precinct
  • Delivering containers to customer sites in metro and regional/rural areas
  • Performing pre-start equipment checks, fault reporting and weight scale calibration
  • Assistance with management of Chain of Responsibility and compliance as a Truck Driver
  • Managing driver time sheets and load data to a high standard
Qualifications, Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Current MC licence
  • Current WA Commercial Driver medical
  • Current MSIC
  • Safe driving record
  • Previous experience in container truck driving – A-Doubles, including reversing and breaking down trailers
  • Knowledge of all Empty Parks and Terminals in Fremantle
  • Current knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements
  • Previous experience using MTData, Guardian and electronic work diary technology highly desired
  • High regard for vehicle cleanliness and personal presentation
  • Current knowledge of legal weight limits and correct load positions
  • Be physically fit and capable of passing a pre-employment medical assessment including drug and alcohol screening and ongoing WA commercial driver medical requirements
