Overview

Security Officer - QLD Rail - Sunshine Coast at Securecorp. Casual Security Officer role based on the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane area for one of Securecorp's largest public transport contracts. This role is suitable for individuals who want to earn extra income, gain experience, or start a career in the security industry.

We are a nationwide provider delivering security, cleaning, electronics and monitoring services across various industries, guided by the values of reliability, integrity and results, with opportunities for training and development.

Responsibilities
  • Patrols
  • Incident response
  • First aid response
  • Customer service
  • Liaising with and providing assistance to external stakeholders such as emergency services
Requirements
  • Valid QLD Security Licence with Crowd Control
  • QLD Drivers Licence
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Flexible with Availability – must be able to commit to Friday nights
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to write incident reports
  • Ability to respond to security incidents
  • Note: Role involves working on moving public transport vehicles; motion sickness may make this role unsuitable
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • Valid QLD Security Licence
  • Crowd Control
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Drivers Licence
  • Positive and Professional Attitude
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
