Electrical Operator Maintainer

Ventia is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Electrical Maintainer / Operator to join our Operations Team at Millmerran Power Station.
As a key member of the Operations Team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining coal and ash plant equipment to ensure maximum availability, efficiency, and safety. This dual-role position combines hands-on operational duties with maintenance responsibilities, supporting the broader maintenance team as required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating, inspecting, isolating, cleaning, maintaining, and repairing plant machinery and equipment
- Collaborating with the maintenance team to meet plant performance targets
- Using the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage and complete work orders
- Participating in risk assessments, safety analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards

What You'll Need
- Trade qualification (Electrical)
- First Aid Certificate
- Experience in coal plant operations or industrial experience
- Loader Ticket/ Forklift Licence
- This role is based on-site at the Millmerran Power Station. For fatigue management reasons, the successful candidate must reside within a 1-hour drive of Millmerran or be willing to relocate (at their own expense).
