Mini Masterminds is an award-winning childcare organisation with 20 centres across NSW. Position Overview

Join the exciting journey of our Rockdale service, catering for 79 children across three beautiful learning rooms. As a Room Leader, you will take the lead in your room's daily operations, ensuring high-quality education, strong routines, and a warm, inclusive environment. You'll guide and inspire your team of educators to deliver engaging programs that nurture each child's growth and development. This is your opportunity to shape a learning environment from the very start—building strong connections with families, supporting your team, and delivering programs that foster curiosity, creativity, and care.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and guide the educators in your room, fostering teamwork and professional growth.
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate high-quality learning programs in line with the EYLF and NQS.
  • Maintain effective routines and a safe, organised, and engaging learning space.
  • Champion the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children in your care.
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with families and keep them informed of their child's progress.
  • Support the Centre's culture of continuous improvement and reflective practice.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
  • Proven experience as a Room Leader or strong interest in taking on a leadership role
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
  • Child Protection training/certificate
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Passion for creating inspiring, engaging learning environments
