Leading independent construction materials supplier to the building and construction industry has an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join a high-volume, fast-paced accounts receivable team.

Successful applicants will possess a passion for accounts receivable and have experience working in an administrative accounts role. Exposure to a manufacturing or construction industry environment will be highly regarded.

Reporting to the Credit Manager, responsibilities include:

  1. Processing accounts receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner
  2. Maintenance of credit limits and stop supply processes
  3. Identification and entry of EFT, Direct Deposits, and Credit Card banking
  4. Assisting with credit applications analysis and minimising credit risk
  5. Ensuring compliance with company credit policies and procedures
  6. Daily banking and general administrative tasks as required

You will need:

  1. High level of accuracy
  2. Strong customer service skills and proficient written and verbal communication
  3. Hands-on approach and willingness to learn and work through problems to completion
  4. A general understanding of accounts processes
