LOCATION

Our team is based in Brisbane, however as our organisation grows, we are open to considering aremote working environmentfor the successful candidate. Travel to Brisbane will be required on a monthly basis.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're on the lookout for a Lead / Principal Power Systems Engineerto join our dynamic team in Brisbane.In this pivotal role, you'll drive technical excellence across a range of power system studies using tools likePSS/E, PSCAD, PowerFactory, and Hypersim.

You'll bring your expertise inend-to-end grid connection processes, guiding the technical delivery of complex studies and ensuring seamless integration with the grid. Your experience withgenerator performance standardsand a deep understanding ofSchedule 5 of the NERwill be key to your success.

ABOUT YOU

You're a driven and experienced professional with a passion for power systems and a collaborative mindset. You bring a strong technical foundation and a desire to lead, mentor, and make a real impact in the renewable energy space. Ideally, you'll bring:

• A degree (or higher) inElectrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics
• Around7+ years of hands-on experiencedelivering complex, high-voltage grid connection projects—ideally across design, build, and commissioning phases
• A strong focus onhealth, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ), with a knack for inspiring teams and driving great results—both commercially and for our clients
• Great people skills—you know how to build strong relationships, communicate clearly, and work with customers and senior stakeholders to find the best way forward
• Chartered status with Engineers AustraliaandRPEQ registration(or you're actively working towards it and keen to get there)
