We are recruiting a full-time Electrician capable of working rotating Monday – Friday shifts, dedicated to electrical repairs and maintenance to applicable standards. Responsibilities include installation and commissioning of new equipment, identifying plant improvements, and developing preventative maintenance systems to maximize productivity.
Due to limited public transportation, a valid driver's license and personal transportation are required.
Skills required:- Understanding of SCADA Systems
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Focus on planned preventative maintenance
- Safe and timely task execution
- Task scheduling for repairs and maintenance
- Minimum 1 year as a tradesman
- QLD electrical work license
- Experience in industrial maintenance
- Experience with PLCs, instrumentation, and control systems
- Experience in manufacturing/continuous operation, preferably in food manufacturing
- Stable employment with a leader in the food industry
- Tools, uniform, and PPE provided
