Job Summary:

A Freight Forwarder, Export role at DSV Air & Sea involves arranging and directing the transportation and shipment of export consignments from origin to destination.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  1. Process export consignments to meet customer expectations and designated KPIs.
  2. Collaborate with the Export team to ensure quality and accuracy of work delivered.
  3. Carry out export workflow processes in accordance with management directive, customer instructions, SOPs, and specified requirements.
  4. Maintain strong client relationships with DSV customers (internal and external), suppliers, and service providers locally and overseas.
  5. Problem solve export issues with various stakeholders, including airlines, shipping lines, transport providers, co-loaders, and customers.
  6. Enter data into CW1 accurately and in a timely manner.
  7. Prioritize and plan export shipments from the Export Workbench to achieve milestone requirements, designated KPIs, and deadlines.
  8. Calculate monetary issues such as invoice costings, GST, weights, and measures in relation to load sizes and space availability.
  9. Support the Senior Team Lead and Manager with day-to-day activities and other reasonable tasks as required.
About You:
  1. You possess tech-savviness, utilizing modern logistics software for tracking shipments, automating documentation, and keeping clients informed.
  2. You offer excellent customer service, proactive problem-solving, and responsive support to ensure smooth operations.
  3. You have proven experience in export logistics, with in-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and industry-specific shipping requirements.
  4. You are familiar with Cargowise One.
