Job Title: Accounting and Finance Specialist

Job Summary:

This is a challenging role that requires an experienced accounting and finance professional to join our client's team in their Western Sydney office. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing manufacturing accounting, providing financial insights, and driving cost-saving initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain cost standards for materials and labor
  • Provide senior leaders and stakeholders with contemporary financial management advice and solutions
  • Perform month-end cost accounting close
  • Assist the team with New Product Development
  • Manage inventory data and perform stock take
  • Analyze manufacturing operations and equipment utilization
  • Contribute to the annual budget process
About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled accountant or finance professional who can provide excellent financial and business insights at a granular level. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a multi-site manufacturing environment and strong business partnering skills.

Requirements:
  • CPA/CA/CIMA qualification preferred
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Strong business partnering and relationship building skills
  • Experience with ERP systems and MS Excel
