The Opportunity

HealthShare NSW is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Kitchenhand. The primary purpose of this role is to provide cleaning and ware washing services while ensuring adherence to relevant standards around food safety and quality.

Your responsibilities will include cleaning of assembly stations and kitchen areas and other scheduled detailed cleaning as required; and ensuring food safety, hygiene, infection prevention and control adhere to relevant service and quality guidelines, standards, policies, procedures and legislation.

To be successful

You will need to be an Australian Citizen or hold Permanent Residency and be available to work 7 days per week. This role has a drop down roster which means days off change each month.

Eligibility Requirements
  • Meet essential requirements as outlined in the Position Description
  • Candidates must have Australian work rights (citizens, permanent residents, or valid work visa). Permanent roles open to Australian citizens and permanent residents; temporary and casual roles welcome applicants with a visa
  • This is a NSW Health Category A position requiring immunisation and Tuberculosis (TB) screening. Refer to NSW Health OASV Policy for required vaccines. During application, upload OASV Undertaking/Declaration Form and TB Assessment Tool with vaccination evidence
