Position Overview

We seek qualified Christian staff for our property maintenance team to provide exceptional grounds keeping services at our school.

This part-time position (16 hours a fortnight) will commence in January 2025.

Duties include:

  • Performing minor landscaping tasks
  • Maintaining clean and tidy school grounds
  • Carrying out routine trade and non-trade maintenance and repairs
  • Providing feedback on planning, preparing, and developing school grounds
  • Managing inventory for grounds supplies and materials
  • Assisting with setting up significant school events
  • Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements

Requirements and Skills:

  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • A valid Working with Children Check
  • An authentic Christian who lives out their faith and attends church regularly
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor
  • Strong customer service skills
  • A strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Reliability and punctuality to ensure timely service
  • Prior experience in groundskeeping in a school environment is desirable
