ANZ's Return to Work Program is designed for people who have taken a career break or have been significantly underemployed and are seeking support to transition back into the workforce.

To be eligible for the Program you will have taken a career break (two or more years) or have been significantly underemployed.

We understand the importance of balancing work, family, and other commitments. Planning, cooperation, and support are essential. Assess the resources you currently have and identify what additional support you may need.

Reflect on the hours and days you are available to work and be prepared to discuss them with us. Together, we can fine-tune your schedule to best fit your needs.

The ANZ Plus mobile engineering team has over 200 engineers across Australia, New Zealand, and Vietnam. You'll work with a supportive and inclusive team that values new ideas and recognizes great work. We aim to help each other become the best engineers possible.

The mobile team is your 'home', where you will learn and hone your craft. But on a day to day basis you will work with a feature squad (Product Owner, Business Analyst, Designers, Risk and Legal etc.) to help deliver beautiful, value filled features into our app and into the hands of our customers.

Both Android and iOS apps are full of new and interesting technologies.

On Android, Coroutines and Flows are used extensively throughout the codebase, with gRPC being at the core of our network stack. We are 100% Jetpack compose and have a modular fully offline capable app.

iOS is similarly modern with the same gRPC networking stack, 95% SwiftUI, Combine & Async/Await code coupled with an MVVM architecture.

Here are some of the tech skills we like to see on resumes:

• For iOS specialists: Xcode, SwiftUI, MVVM architecture.
• Software architecture patterns and principles (e.g. MVVM/CLEAN/SOLID).
• Security principles, best practices, and APIs.
• Experience building and working on mobile app features that demonstrate great customer value and experiences while balancing business needs.
• We're open on the industry you've worked in; it may even be an app you've built in your shed.

We don't need all of these skills; we look for people with strong but flexible opinions. If you lack experience in some areas, the team will support and help you grow.
