Early Childhood Teacher - Term Break Coordinator

The International Grammar School Early Learning Centre seeks a highly motivated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our dynamic early learning team in a unique coordinator role. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator or someone ready to take the next step in their career and develop leadership skills under a skilled leadership team.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the educational program from 3:00pm to 6:00pm during term time, with a focus on delivering meaningful and authentic learning experiences each afternoon.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Early Learning and the Educational Leader to coordinate, lead, and implement the program during term breaks.
  • Inspire and guide a team of educators, fostering a positive, collaborative, and enriching learning environment for staff and children.

  • Availability to work 10:30am - 6:10pm Monday - Friday during term time and flexible shift times during term break
  • Demonstrated understanding of EYLF and Reggio Emilia pedagogy
  • Previous leadership/management experience in an early education and care setting (desirable)
  • Current WWCC
  • Sound computer skills
Qualifications
  • ACECQA recognised university qualification in Early Childhood Teaching
  • Current NESA registration
  • Current ACECQA approved first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma certifications
  • Current ACECQA approved Child Protection training or willingness to obtain
  • Current WWCC
