Overview

Casual position in Appin 2560. School days only - Monday to Friday. Morning shift and Afternoon shift. Located in Appin, NSW 2560. Work location: In person.

Responsibilities

Assisted Pty Ltd delivers a professional quality service to our community, through supporting and assisting students with a disability, travelling to and from school. Our focus is on providing a positive transport experience for students and keeping the safety and the wellbeing of all students a priority during transportation.

  • Support and transport students with a disability to and from school
  • Ensure safety and wellbeing of students during transportation
  • Operate under the Department of Education guidelines and ASTP processes as required
Qualifications
  • Hold an unrestricted Class C licence or above
  • Be comfortable working with children that require special needs
  • Be patient and respectful
  • Speak English
  • Be well presented
  • Competent with modern technology, especially mobile phones and computers
Requirements and Screening
  • Shortlisted applicants will be screened through the Department of Education Assisted School Travel Program (ASTP) with documentation of identification, driving record, and medical fitness
  • Must reside in Appin 2560
  • Valid Full Driver Licence
  • Working with Children Check (Preferred)
  • First Aid Certification (Preferred)
Compensation and Benefits
  • Job Type: Casual
  • Pay: $33.38 per hour
  • Benefits: Company car
