The Opportunity

Communicate with clients and engineers to understand geotechnical requirements across diverse infrastructure and building projects.
Plan, manage and report on site investigations and laboratory testing programs.
Perform geotechnical design calculations and develop safety management plans for investigation works.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver tailored, high-quality geotechnical solutions.
Prepare detailed factual, interpretative, and design reports, and contribute to digital and sustainable project outcomes.

Is this role right for you?

A degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, or a related field, with consulting experience in design and investigations.
Working towards or holding Chartered membership with IEAust and familiarity with Melbourne's geotechnical environment.
Practical knowledge of site investigations, geotechnical design, and related regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
Experience or interest in areas such as contamination assessments, rock mechanics, pavement design or hydrogeology.
