Mansfield Crushing is a privately owned Australian business who has a strong reputation in the quarry industry, with a focus on safety and pride in what we do. We provide support and services in the quarry industry, to deliver quality materials for Australia's future roads, cities, towns, and construction projects.

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Boilermaker. This role will be based out of our Little River site with travel to other sites when required.

The successful candidate will demonstrate and obtain:

  • Trade experience and qualification. 5 years or more preferred.
  • Experience with Earth-moving equipment and components.
  • Experience working with Heavy structural machinery.
  • Ability to perform tasks on a strict deadline without compromising on a high quality of work.
  • Commitment and willingness to work safely and comply with safety procedures.
  • Current manual drivers' license, HR preferred but not essential.

Duties will include:

  • Attend to breakdowns.
  • Maintenance of plant as per manufacturers recommendations, to the highest possible standard.
  • Be prepared to work flexible hours at multiple locations.
  • Replace wear parts on heavy earth moving and crushing and screening plant.
  • Welding, griding, thermal and grinder cutting of steal.
  • Safe working with heavy components and materials.
  • Conduct work in the workshop or out on the field as required.
  • Clear and concise communications to all stakeholders, including email, phone and face to face communication.

Preference will be given to candidates with Quarry / Earthmoving experience. Successful applicants will be expected to work minimum 52.5 hours p/w with regular overtime.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with an attractive hourly rate, company vehicle, mobile phone, accommodation, and meal allowance when required and of course a great team environment
