Job Summary

Gooseberry Dental is offering a full-time trainee dental nurse position. Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.15am - 5.30pm; Friday 8.15am to 4.30pm. As a trainee, you will work with experienced dental professionals and study towards your dental nursing qualification. This role is suitable for someone with a caring nature, excellent communication skills, and a strong desire to learn.

Main duties
  • Assisting dentists and hygienists during clinical procedures
  • Preparing and maintaining the surgery and instruments
  • Supporting patients throughout their visit
  • Maintaining high standards of infection control and cleanliness
  • Undertaking training and coursework towards your dental nurse qualification

Qualifications

  • National diploma in Dental Nursing Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Valid GDC registration.

Experience

  • A positive, proactive, and professional attitude
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A willingness to learn and commitment to training
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • No previous dental experience required; full training provided
