As a driver with us the minimum responsibilities are:* Safely operating a garbage truck on specified routes to collect solid waste.* Reading route sheets and service each customer identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispatcher.* Performing routine post and pre route inspections on vehicles such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.* Having professional and courteous interactions with our customers when needed.* Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.**What We Need From You:*** Minimum 3 years commercial driving experience with a clean abstract.* Class 3 or higher driver's license.* Excellent spatial skills to position vehicle and bins effectively and drive accident free.* Effective communication skills to convey information to dispatcher and customers.* Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug test.**What You'll Get From Us:*** Wage - $31.75 per hour, Full Time* Hours: Monday - Friday with 2nd Saturday rotation* Benefits: Full Benefit package after 3 months of service* Annual boot and clothing allowance* Retirement Plan with company match; let us help you save for your future* Perks, perks, perks Employee Assistant Program, Scholarship Opportunities for kids, Employee Stock Purchase Plan* Insurance: Life, Short Term/Long Term Disability### *Waste Connections of Canada is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
